HR Power BI dashboard
As part of a workforce transformation initiative, I supported the design and research for the new Manager’s Dashboard a centralised, evidence based platform aimed at empowering SES and EL level leaders with the insights they need to manage people, capability, and risk more effectively.
The dashboard replaces legacy HR reports with a dynamic, user-friendly interface that provides real-time access to critical workforce data such as classification, excess leave, temporary performance, leave without pay, and overtime. A key focus of the project was to deliver automated, actionable insights while also supporting First Nations reporting aligned with Close the Gap priorities.
Together with our research team, I led rapid discovery with super users and stakeholders including SES Band 1 and 2, EL1 and EL2 managers, HR, and product owners. Through one-on-one interviews, we identified pain points, gathered future-state requirements, and refined an indicative service blueprint. These insights informed the dashboard’s information hierarchy, ensuring the right data is available at the right time, and shaped a more intuitive and strategic user experience.
